Mount Sunapee State Park

Mount Sunapee State Park extends across 3,000 acres of land, featuring forests, trails, a beach area on Lake Sunapee, and mountain slopes for recreation.

The New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation has managed this public recreation area since its establishment in 1948, developing facilities for outdoor activities.

The park forms part of the Sunapee-Ragged-Kearsarge Greenway, a 75-mile loop trail connecting multiple parks and forests in southern New Hampshire.

The park charges admission fees of $5 for adults, $2 for children between 6-11 years, while entry remains free for children under 5 and New Hampshire seniors.

The Summit Trail stretches two miles along the western slope, intersecting with the Solitude Trail that leads to Lake Solitude and White Ledges.
