Liqueur distillery F. Senden-Devel

The distillery building combines industrial structures with a grand residence, featuring a brick facade with arched windows and stone details along Sint Pieter street.

Franz Hubert Senden established the distillery in 1891, expanding operations in 1910 and introducing automobiles to replace horse-drawn carts by 1918.

The facility maintains its complete 1920s equipment collection, including an 18th-century wooden press and an extensive archive of production materials.

The building functions as a private museum, allowing visitors to learn about traditional liqueur production methods through detailed exhibits and preserved machinery.

The distillery received protected monument status in 1983, preserving both the structure and its internal equipment for future generations.
