Slovácké letecké muzeum

Slovácké Letecké Muzeum is an aviation museum in Kunovice housing more than 20 aircraft from different eras and types. The collection includes transport planes, military aircraft, helicopters, and related equipment from Eastern Moravia.

The museum opened in 2017 and preserves a former government aircraft Tu-154 known as Naganský expres. This plane carries significance from Czech sports history and national moments.

The museum reflects the connection between aviation and the Moravian region, with aircraft that played roles in local history and regional pride. Visitors experience how flying shaped the identity and memories of people in this area.

The museum operates seasonally from April through October with daily access to outdoor exhibits. Visitors should plan visits during good weather since most aircraft are displayed outside.

Visitors can enter aircraft interiors and explore the cabins firsthand, providing a real sense of scale and design. At certain locations, actual radio communications between flight crews and the control tower can be heard.
