Schloss Absberg, Baroque château in Absberg, Germany.

The three-winged château rises across three floors with a northern orientation, featuring numerous paintings and stucco decorations throughout its structure.

Built between 1723 and 1726 under Karl Heinrich von Hornstein's direction, the château replaced an earlier castle that burned down during the Absberg feud of 1523.

The château chapel, constructed in 1777, transformed into the Parish Church of St. Ottilia in 1834, serving the religious needs of the local community.

Since 1909, the Regens-Wagner Foundation has operated the château as a facility for individuals with disabilities, continuing its social service mission.

A fire in 1969 destroyed the former knights' hall, leading to structural modifications and an expansion by architect Friedrich Ferdinand Haindl in 1991.
