Schloss Gadow

Schloss Gadow is a manor house in the Elbtalaue Biosphere Reserve near Lanz that now serves as a conference and group accommodation facility. The building sits within a park of roughly 7 hectares through which the Löcknitz River flows.

The castle began as a noble residence and transformed over time into a gathering place for groups and seminars. The protected architecture of the building remained intact and shapes its appearance today.

The castle functions as a learning space where visitors experience theater, workshops, and nature together. The rooms and grounds bring groups together for shared activities and creative work.

The property offers different types of accommodation: single and double rooms with private bathrooms, as well as multi-bed rooms for group stays. The location by the Löcknitz River makes arrival straightforward and allows direct access to riverside activities.

The grounds feature a 12-meter climbing wall, a high ropes course, and a canoe station right on the river. These facilities make it a place where adventure seekers and seminar groups experience both thrills and teamwork simultaneously.
