Wolsfelder AvD Bergrennen is a hill climb race that takes place on a narrow country road in the Eifel region. The course stretches about 1640 meters long, measures roughly 5 meters wide, and features an incline of approximately 9 percent.
The race began in the 1950s with informal driving events organized by American car enthusiasts stationed at nearby Bitburg Air Base. These gatherings eventually led to the formation of a motorsports club that transformed the activity into an organized annual competition.
The race attracts participants from multiple regions who compete in various categories including touring cars and racing cars under FIA and DMSB regulations.
The event takes place every year on Pentecost Monday and drivers can register through the national motorsports federation. The location sits in a rural area, so it helps to research driving routes in advance and plan for longer travel times.
