Schloss Waldau, Castle in Vohenstrauß, Germany.
The three-story castle features a hipped roof design and includes a right courtyard wing constructed during the eighteenth century.
Following the decay of the original Waldau fortress in the late 1600s, this new castle was constructed incorporating elements from the previous structure.
The castle chapel represents religious architectural traditions, with two altars donated in 1717 by Baron Karl Johann von Rummel and his wife.
Located at Roggensteiner Strasse 8, the castle maintains its historical brewery, which continues operations under the Heemskerck family since 1938.
The grounds include an English garden surrounding the main building, marking the location where the former Waldau fortress stood centuries ago.
