Berlin South-Western Cemetery

Berlin South-Western Cemetery is a large burial ground in Stahnsdorf with extensive sections for different religious denominations arranged across its grounds. The site features organized pathways connecting memorials and dedicated areas that reflect its role as a multi-faith resting place.

The cemetery was founded in 1909 and received relocated graves from several parish cemeteries. It also serves as a war cemetery, containing graves of soldiers from the First World War.

The wooden chapel reflects Norwegian stave church design in its structure and displays Art Nouveau stained glass windows inside. Visitors can observe how the building's architectural style and decorative elements shape the spiritual environment.
