St. Anschar, Church building and heritage monument in Eppendorf, Hamburg, Germany.
The structure features neo-Gothic architecture with a single tower, incorporating mechanical slider chests and encompassing eleven registers across two manuals and a pedal.
Built in 1889 according to Julius Faulwasser's plans, the church underwent substantial renovations in 1952 and 1969 by architects Dieter and Gerhard Langmaack.
The parish originated from the inner mission of Johann Hinrich Wichern and established the Kolonie der Barmherzigkeit near Eppendorf for elderly care.
Located in Hamburg's administrative district of Hamburg-Nord, the church serves the local community through regular services and social support programs.
The church received its first organ in 1899 from P. Furtwängler & Hammer, which was later replaced in 1972 and modified in 1996.
