Museum Jorn, Art museum in Silkeborg, Denmark.
Museum Jorn presents over 30,000 artworks in a riverfront building, featuring collections from Danish and international artists across multiple art movements.
The museum opened in 1965 as Silkeborg Museum of Art, moving to its current location in 1982 in a complex designed by Niels Frithiof Truelsen.
The permanent collection includes works by Max Ernst, Francis Picabia, Fernand Léger, and Man Ray, alongside contemporary Danish and international artists.
Located at Gudenåvej 7-9 in Silkeborg, the museum receives 50,000 visitors annually and offers guided tours with extended hours on Thursdays.
Two large ceramic walls by Jean Dubuffet and Pierre Alechinsky form the entrance, creating a distinctive gateway to the exhibition spaces.
