Anne Just's Garden

Anne Just's Garden is a garden in Hune with multiple sections connected by winding paths, featuring diverse flower arrangements and carefully planned botanical compositions throughout. The space covers about 7,500 square meters divided into different themed areas.

Anne Just and architect Claus Bonderup created this garden in 1991, transforming part of a dune plantation into themed areas. This project marked an artistic redesign of the land with dedicated zones.

The space displays paintings in dedicated exhibition areas while drawing on Danish gardening customs through its plant choices and layout. Visitors can see how artistic vision and botanical care work together throughout the garden.

You can explore the grounds, enjoy Danish pastries at the coffee house, or stay overnight at Have Hotellet with access to private garden areas. The different sections are easily reached via the winding paths.

The garden is divided into named sections including Iris Hill, Olympic Garden, Pastel Garden, and Yellow Garden, each with distinct plant combinations. These varied zones let visitors experience different botanical worlds while walking through.
