Hacienda La Laguna

The estate features five distinct courtyards, traditional stone architecture, and an extensive aqueduct system that irrigates the surrounding agricultural lands.

Originally owned by Jesuits in 1641, the hacienda changed hands through royal decrees, noble families, and agricultural transformations until its restoration in 1992.

The property houses the Museum of Olive Culture, displaying traditional olive grinding equipment and artifacts that document the region's agricultural methods.

Visitors can access guided tours of the property, which now functions as both a cultural center and a hospitality school.

An artificial pond called Laguna Grande supplies water to the estate through a 19th-century brick aqueduct system that encircles the property.
