The Museum of Ceramics occupies a renovated 18th-century building with more than 2,500 pieces documenting the evolution of ceramic arts through centuries.
The institution opened its doors on November 26, 1967, following the transformation of a former residence owned by an Italian family of wool traders.
The collection presents ceramic works from the 14th century to modern times, demonstrating the techniques and styles developed by local artisans.
Visitors can explore the museum Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM and Sundays from 11 AM to 2 PM, with free admission.
The Gothic portal at the entrance comes from the Palace of Mossén Sorell, rescued after a fire destroyed the original building.
