Wall of the Barcelona Airport, Ceramic mural in Terminal 2, El Prat de Llobregat, Spain.
The ceramic wall spans 50 meters in width and 10 meters in height, featuring 4,865 colorful pieces arranged in geometric patterns and symbols.
Joan Miró and Josep Llorens Artigas completed this mural in September 1970 as part of four major works donated to welcome visitors to Barcelona.
The mural incorporates numerous symbols from Catalan art traditions, including stars, birds, cartwheels, the sun, and the moon in abstract forms.
Visitors can view the mural while arriving or departing from Terminal 2, accessible via the L9S metro line or Aerobus service.
Each of the 4,865 ceramic pieces was individually crafted and positioned to create a continuous visual narrative across the terminal wall.
