Iglesia de San Francisco de Asís

The Iglesia de San Francisco de Asís is a church built with an unusual cylindrical design made from gray granite in Oviedo, Spain. The inner cylinder rises higher than the outer ring, creating a striking architectural shape.

Architect Luis Prieto Bances designed this building in 1961, and it was inaugurated in 1964. The church was completed during a period of modern architectural development in the city.
