Platja des Pianc

Platja des Pianc is a small sandy beach in Cadaqués with gentle access to the water and a natural curve along the cove. The shore is framed by the surrounding village buildings and the mountains of Cap de Creus Natural Park beyond.

The beach has been an important anchoring point for fishing boats and vessels since Cadaqués developed as a fishing community. Its position in the cove made it a natural shelter for boats during rough seas.

This beach serves as a daily gathering place where locals and visitors experience the simple rhythm of Mediterranean seaside life. You often see fishermen maintaining their boats and preparing nets, giving the spot an active, working character.

The beach is easily reachable on foot from the village center and offers basic facilities like showers and restrooms nearby. The best time to visit is early morning or late afternoon, when fewer people are around and the light is more pleasant.

This is the only harbor-like spot in the village where you can watch the daily activity of the fishing fleet directly. It makes it a window into real maritime life rather than just a tourist beach.
