Platja de Llevant, Mediterranean beach in Premià de Mar, Spain
Platja de Llevant is a sandy beach located in Premià de Mar on the Mediterranean coast. It stretches for several hundred meters between two breakwaters and features sandy ground with access to clean water.
The beach came into existence in the early 2000s following waterfront restructuring work. Changes to the shoreline infrastructure created the current beach form and made it accessible as a public coastal area.
The beach serves as a gathering place where locals and visitors come together to swim and relax by the sea. You will notice families spending their days here and people walking along the shoreline throughout the year.
The beach provides showers, toilets, and parking for visitors. Facilities are well accessible, and lifeguards are present during the swimming season.
A section of the beach is reserved specifically for visitors with dogs. This makes it a rare coastal spot where pets can be brought along.
