Somerset Park, Football stadium in Ayr, Scotland
Somerset Park has traditional wooden structures, corrugated metal elements, and terracing on three sides with covers at both ends of the field.
The stadium opened in 1888 as a replacement for Beresford Park, with its original clubhouse and grandstand dismantled and rebuilt at the new location.
The Main Stand, constructed in 1920 by architect Archibald Leitch for £8,000, maintains its original design features and holds 2,592 spectators.
Located within walking distance of two railway stations, Somerset Park provides free parking and offers multiple function rooms for various events.
The stadium recorded its highest attendance of 25,225 people during a match against Rangers on September 13, 1969.
