Bedale Hall, Grade I listed country house in Bedale, England

The two-story brick and ashlar structure stands at the northern end of Bedale Market Place, opposite St Gregory's Church within Bedale Park grounds.

The estate, purchased in 1638 by John Peirse from Sir Richard Theakston's family, transformed into a Palladian mansion through expansions starting in 1730.

The interior features detailed Rococo plasterwork in the hallway and saloon, representing the architectural styles of the eighteenth century English mansions.

The building currently houses the Bedale Tourist Information Centre, Community Library, Museum, and Town Council offices, offering spaces for public events.

The hall includes a preserved 1748 fire engine, displayed in the Bedale Museum collection as part of the local heritage exhibition.
