Brizlee Tower, Gothic Revival folly tower in Hulne Park, United Kingdom.
The stone tower rises 26 meters high with six distinct levels, featuring a circular design and rectangular buttresses on the northern edge of Brizlee Hill.
Hugh Percy, First Duke of Northumberland, commissioned the construction of this memorial tower in 1781 following the death of his wife, Lady Elizabeth Seymour.
The tower contains an inscription in Latin that translates to 'Look around, I have measured out all these things; they are my orders, it is my planning'.
Visitors can access multiple viewing platforms that provide views of North Northumberland, the Cheviot Hills, and the North Sea coastline.
The structure incorporates a cast iron fire basket at its summit, marking the location of a former signal beacon used to warn of approaching enemies.
