Buntingford Manor House

Buntingford Manor House is an 18th-century country residence built from Gault brick, standing on Market Hill between The Crown Public House and Barclays Bank. The Grade II listed building now operates as a heritage center and remains a key part of the town's streetscape.

Originally the residence of the Lord of the Manor, the house was purchased by Buntingford Town Council in 1996 to serve as their headquarters. This acquisition allowed the historic building to be preserved and repurposed as a cultural center for the community.

The building now houses the Buntingford Heritage Centre, where visitors can explore displays about the town's past and how it developed over time. It serves as a gathering space for locals interested in learning about their community's story.
