The church exhibits perpendicular Gothic architecture with intricate fan tracery on its roof and substantial stone walls dating from the medieval period.
Constructed around 1150, this Grade I listed building served as a burial site for the Howard family and contains the tomb of Thomas Howard, 3rd Duke of Norfolk.
The church maintains a trained choir performing during services and features an organ from 1708, built by Thomas Thamar during the English restoration period.
The church opens daily from 8:30 AM until dusk, offering regular Sunday services including Holy Communion at 8:00 AM and morning prayer at 8:30 AM.
Eight bells from different founders hang in the tower, with dates ranging from the 15th to 20th centuries, creating distinct sounds across Framlingham.
