Pakenham Windmill, Grade II* listed tower windmill in Pakenham, England.

The five-storey tower mill stands tall with four patent sails and uses a fantail mechanism for automatic adjustment to wind direction.

Built in 1831, the mill passed to the Bryant family in 1885, who maintained the milling tradition and added a steam engine for auxiliary power.

The mill features in multiple visual productions, including a 1938 short film 'And Now They Rest' and a 1977 episode of television series 'Survivors'.

Visitors can explore the windmill daily during operating hours, with special access arrangements available for group tours throughout the year.

The internal machinery includes three pairs of millstones, with two remaining operational and utilizing chain-driven governors instead of conventional belts.
