Penrhos Country Park, Country park in Holyhead, Wales
The coastal park extends along 2.2 miles of shoreline, featuring woodland trails, two large ponds, and views across Beddmanarch Bay.
The grounds belonged to the Stanley family estate before opening as a public park in 1971, with involvement from the Anglesey Aluminium company.
The parkland maintains designated status as both a Site of Special Scientific Interest and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Wales.
Visitors can access the park through National Cycle Route 8 from Holyhead, with parking facilities available at Penrhos beach entrance.
The park received national recognition when it won the title of UK's Favourite Park in 2022 through a Fields in Trust poll.
