Royal Pier, Grade II listed pier in Aberystwyth, United Kingdom.
Description
The Royal Pier extends into Cardigan Bay with an iron and glass pavilion at its entrance that houses multiple facilities. Inside you will find a restaurant, amusement arcade, billiards room, and nightclub all connected together.
History
The pier was designed in 1865 and became the first pleasure pier established in Wales. It marked an important moment in the development of seaside attractions across Britain.
