Royal Welch Fusiliers Museum, Military museum in Caernarfon Castle, Wales
The Royal Welch Fusiliers Museum spans two towers of Caernarfon Castle, displaying military artifacts, uniforms, weapons, and documents from Wales' oldest infantry regiment.
Established in 1960, the museum chronicles three centuries of military service, including campaigns of William III, the American War of Independence, and both World Wars.
The museum exhibits personal accounts and literary works from soldiers who served in the regiment, including war poets Siegfried Sassoon and Robert Graves.
Museum entry is included with Caernarfon Castle admission, with daily operations from 09:30 to 17:00 and facilities including a restaurant and gift shop.
The collection features fourteen Victoria Crosses awarded to regiment members, alongside films and audio recordings documenting their global military operations.
