Beauly Firth

Beauly Firth is a coastal inlet in Scotland's Highlands stretching between Beauly and Inverness. The waterway features broad mudflats along its shores that become exposed at low tide, shaping the landscape.

The firth served as an important maritime route in ancient times, connecting early settlements and traders. Archaeological evidence indicates human activity in the region dating back to around the 2nd century.

The shoreline offers the best viewing points, and binoculars help spot wildlife from elevated spots along the edges. The eastern side is easily accessible via the Kessock Bridge spanning the water.
