The indoor entertainment complex featured Victorian-era streets, buildings and attractions based on Charles Dickens novels and characters across multiple levels.
The £62 million entertainment venue opened in 2007 at Chatham Dockside retail park and operated until its closure in October 2016.
The Great Expectations water ride transported visitors through recreated scenes of Victorian London, ending with a simulated drop from the sewers into the Thames River.
The facility included touch-screen educational displays, a haunted house attraction, a 4D cinema experience, and themed dining establishments for families.
Professional designers collaborated with the Dickens Fellowship to ensure authentic representation of 19th-century storylines, characters, and architectural elements throughout the park.
