Balsall Preceptory, Medieval religious site in Solihull, England.

The stone buildings of Balsall Preceptory include an original medieval hall and the Church of St Mary with thick walls and arched windows.

Roger de Mowbray granted the manor to the Knights Templars during King Stephen's reign, who managed the estate until their dissolution in 1324.

The Foundation of Lady Katherine Leveson maintains the site, continuing a charitable tradition established in 1674 to support local widows and education.

The Old Hall opens its doors during Heritage Open Days in September, displaying archaeological finds including pottery and glass from the 17th century.

Eight resident Templars were arrested at this location during the suppression of their order, including William de Warewyk, who served as the chaplain.
