Paultons Park, Theme park in New Forest, England
Paultons Park is a theme park in New Forest, southern England, offering more than 70 rides and attractions spread across a large site. The park features everything from gentle carousels for toddlers to faster roller coasters for older children, alongside play areas and animal encounters.
The site was part of a historic 18th-century estate whose gardens were designed by landscape architect Capability Brown. The park opened in 1983 as a family attraction and has since grown through the addition of new themed areas.
Each themed area uses distinct architecture, music, and decoration to transport families from one setting to another, such as a Western frontier town with country music or a jungle environment with mechanical prehistoric creatures. These zones create separate worlds that children explore by walking from one to the next.
The site lies near junction 2 of the M27 motorway and offers free parking along with several restaurants and cafés on site. Visitors who wish to return for a second day receive a discounted entry, and the grounds are well suited for families with pushchairs.
The park houses the only official Peppa Pig World in the United Kingdom, featuring nine themed rides and several chances to meet characters from the television series in person. This zone is designed specifically for preschool children and their siblings.
