St Peter's Church, Lowick, Medieval church building in Lowick, England
The stone church features a four-stage west tower with set-back angles, an aisled nave, chancel, north chapel, south transept, and porch with lead roofs.
The church foundations date to 1350, with construction continuing through the late 14th and early 15th centuries under the patronage of the Greene family.
The north aisle contains stained glass panels from 1330-1340 depicting religious figures, while the chancel floor preserves the gravestone of John Heton.
The church maintains regular Holy Communion services with organ accompaniment, and visitors can contact Revd Heather Lowe at the Rectory on Willow Lane.
The tower reaches 96 feet high and includes twelve pinnacles with golden weathervanes, alongside an octagonal lantern supported by flying buttresses.
