St Peter's Church, Shoreham-by-Sea

St Peter's Church is a modern Roman Catholic place of worship built in 1983 on the site of former school grounds, replacing an earlier building from the 1800s. The structure houses a main church space designed to serve the needs of the local Roman Catholic congregation.

The original church was established in 1875 with support from the Duchess of Norfolk, becoming the town's first permanent Catholic house of worship. When the earlier building closed in 1982, a new structure was constructed to continue serving the community's spiritual needs.
