St Mary's Church

St Mary's Church is an Anglican church in Wimbledon Village featuring a 196-foot stone spire and neogothic architecture built in the 1840s. Inside, visitors find medieval-style beams decorated with chevron patterns in the chancel, along with eight bells that include one cast over 500 years ago.

A church has stood on this site since 1086, when it was first mentioned in historical records, but the current building dates to 1843 and was designed by architect Sir George Gilbert Scott.
