The brick structure features a central courtyard, one storey with an attic, and tiled roofs supported by six distinctive chimney stacks with multiple shaft configurations.
Founded in 1393 by Sir Richard Abberbury of Donnington Castle, this building was completed in 1602 and underwent significant restoration work in 1822.
The hospital represents the 23rd oldest charity in England and maintains its original purpose of providing housing for retired residents from Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
