Donnington Hospital

Donnington Hospital is a brick structure in Shaw cum Donnington featuring a central courtyard and single storey with attic rooms beneath tiled roofs. The building displays seven leaded windows and modern dormers, with six distinctive chimneys supporting the roof.

Sir Richard Abberbury founded the charity in 1393, and the current building was completed in 1602 to house the residents. Significant restoration work in 1822 preserved the structure for future generations.
