St Peter's Church, Ropsley

The limestone church features a west-facing tower with spire, two aisles, and a south porch decorated with stone pinnacles.

The church dates to 1050, with portions of the original Saxon structure remaining in the nave while Norman builders added subsequent features.

Two war memorials inside the church include a plaque for fallen servicemen and a stained glass window dedicated to RAF Sergeant Philip Dales.

The church belongs to the North Beltisloe Group of parishes in the Diocese of Lincoln and maintains a seating capacity of 200 people.

Richard Foxe, founder of Corpus Christi College Oxford, funded the construction of the church porch in 1483 during his time as bishop.
