The Church of St Clement stands on an elevated mound with red-tiled roofs, buttresses, and a broach spire crowning its tower.
Dating from 1250, the structure replaced an earlier Saxon church and incorporates construction elements from different medieval periods throughout its design.
The interior features traditional Georgian wooden panels displaying religious texts, and pink-colored box pews from the eighteenth century.
Located 250 meters from available parking areas, the church remains open daily for visitors with level access to main sections.
The church served as a filming location in 1963, leading to renovations including the distinctive pink coloration of its box pews.
