Cheltenham Municipal Offices, Town hall on The Promenade, Cheltenham, England.
The Municipal Offices display a symmetrical main frontage with 63 bays, incorporating Ionic order columns that support the ground floor entrances and windows.
Built in 1822 as Harward's Buildings, the structure became the headquarters of Cheltenham Borough Council in 1916 when the central seven houses were acquired.
The Long Garden in front of the building contains memorials dedicated to local service personnel and explorer Edward Wilson, reflecting the community's history.
The building continues to serve as the main administrative center for Cheltenham, housing essential municipal services and council offices for residents.
The architectural design received recognition from Pevsner, who stated the Municipal Offices stand equal to any comparable structure in Europe.
