Church of All Saints, Medieval church in Pontefract, England
The Church of All Saints consists of two structures: an outer church from the 14th century and a modern inner church completed in 1967.
During the English Civil War in 1644, the church sustained heavy damage from cannon fire as Royalists defended it with 11 artillery pieces.
The church maintains an active Anglican congregation, offering regular worship services, Bible study sessions, and community outreach programs throughout the year.
Services take place every Sunday at 10:00 AM for Holy Communion and at 6:30 PM for evening prayers at this Grade II listed building.
The inner church, designed by George Pace, incorporates decorative medieval head sculptures and features a mezzanine with a pipe organ.
