Church of All Saints

Church of All Saints in Pontefract consists of a 14th-century medieval structure with a modern interior completed in 1967. The two phases of building create a distinctive blend of old and new within the same space.

The church was built in the 14th century as a medieval structure and served the community for centuries. During the English Civil War in 1644, Royalist forces defending the building caused significant damage with cannon fire from 11 artillery pieces.
