Church of the Holy Cross, Medieval sailor's chapel in Mwnt, Wales.
The Church of the Holy Cross features whitewashed stone walls, deep-set windows, and a slate roof positioned near sandy beaches at Cardigan Bay.
The original church site dates from the Age of Saints around 410-700 AD, while the current structure was constructed during the 14th century.
The church houses a stone font crafted from Preseli rock in the 12th century and contains fragments of a 15th-century rood loft with carved roses.
The church remains open during daylight hours and schedules regular services in July and August, with additional special ceremonies throughout the year.
A blocked window on the north wall allowed medieval lepers, who were not permitted inside, to view religious ceremonies from outside.
