Tokai National Higher Education and Research System

The Tokai National Higher Education and Research System is a university corporation that manages and connects Nagoya University and Gifu University. Both institutions offer undergraduate and graduate programs in fields such as medicine, engineering, agriculture, and the arts.

The system was created in 2020 following legislative changes passed by the National Diet in 2019. This reorganization brought two established universities together under a single management structure for the first time in Japan.
