Jewish Museum, Jewish heritage museum in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The Jewish Museum occupies four restored Ashkenazi synagogues in central Amsterdam, featuring exhibits about Jewish life, religion, and history through 11,000 artifacts.

Following its establishment in 1932 at the Waag building, the museum closed during World War II, reopened in 1955, and relocated to its current location in 1987.

The permanent exhibition presents Jewish traditions, customs, and religious practices while exploring the connections between Dutch and Jewish communities over four centuries.

The museum welcomes visitors daily from 11:00 to 17:00, offering audio guides in seven languages and maintaining complete wheelchair accessibility throughout the building.

The children's section teaches young visitors about Jewish culture through interactive activities like matzo baking and Hebrew letter writing experiments.
