Zisterzienserinnenabtei Leeuwenhorst, Cistercian monastery in Noordwijk, Netherlands.

The monastery complex included religious buildings, gardens, and agricultural lands near the North Sea coast of South Holland.

Founded in 1261 by brothers Arent and Alewijn van Alkemade, the monastery operated until its destruction by the Geuzen forces in 1574.

The monastery maintained strong connections with other Cistercian communities, receiving its first nuns from the Mariendaal Abbey in Utrecht.

The former monastery location now contains educational facilities and accommodation structures that preserve the Leeuwenhorst name.

In 1676, statesman Casper Fagel established an extensive botanical garden with exotic plants, which later moved to England with William III.
