Nordkapphallen

The Nordkapphallen structure stands 307 meters above sea level, incorporating multiple sections built into the mountain plateau facing the Barents Sea.

The building's construction began in 1959 with stone materials from the plateau, followed by major expansions in 1988 to accommodate increasing visitor numbers.

The Children of the Earth project established in 1989 features seven monuments created by children worldwide, representing international cooperation at this northern location.

The facility includes a 250-seat restaurant, a panoramic cinema, exhibition spaces, a chapel, and an observation area open year-round with seasonal hours.

The underground grotto contains a bar with windows carved into the rock face, allowing visitors to observe the Arctic Ocean and midnight sun.
