Sieradz Voivodeship, Administrative region in Central Poland.
Sieradz Voivodeship was an administrative region in central Poland with its capital in Sieradz. The territory included several districts and many municipalities spread across the landscape.
The region was created in 1975 as part of Poland's administrative reorganization. It existed for more than 20 years before being merged into the Łódź Voivodeship in 1998.
The region maintained strong connections to Greater Poland's traditions through its administrative structure of powiats and gminas, supporting local governance and community development.
The area is now part of the Łódź Voivodeship and can be explored through the towns that once belonged to it. The region remains accessible through existing roads and connections between its former municipalities.
The territory featured six distinct political subdivisions and held legislative assemblies called sejmiks in the city of Szadek, demonstrating its administrative complexity.
