Bobolice Castle, 14th-century royal castle in Bobolice, Poland
The castle stands on a limestone hill with white stone walls, towers, and remains of a drawbridge over a former dry moat.
King Casimir III the Great built this fortress between 1350 and 1352 as part of a defensive network against invasions from Silesia.
The castle holds tales about twin brothers who owned neighboring castles, and a white lady ghost imprisoned by her uncle.
Tours occur every 30 minutes from 10:00 to 18:00 in summer months and 10:00 to 16:00 in winter, with admission at 15 PLN.
A large treasure discovered in the castle cellars during the 19th century led to speculation about an underground tunnel to Mirów Castle.
