The Trzebiatowsko-Kolobrzeski Seaside Strip extends across 17,468 hectares of coastal land, featuring dunes, marshes, and diverse forest ecosystems along the Baltic Sea.
The area received official protection status as a Special Area of Conservation in April 2004, marking a significant step in preserving Polish coastal environments.
The neighboring towns of Trzebiatów and Kołobrzeg maintain traditional fishing practices and maritime customs that reflect the regional Baltic Sea heritage.
Marked trails throughout the conservation area enable visitors to explore the coastal landscapes while designated observation points facilitate wildlife watching and photography.
