The bronze sculpture features poet Halina Poświatowska sitting on a bench with a cat resting at her feet along the pedestrian walkway.
The memorial bench was unveiled on October 11, 2007, by the poet's brother Zbigniew Myga and Częstochowa mayor Tadeusz Wrona.
This sculpture honors Polish poet Halina Poświatowska, who created emotional poetry about love and life despite her health conditions from 1935 to 1967.
Located near the Pilgrimage Museum and General Dąbrowski Street, the bench includes an information plaque embedded in the pavement.
The bench design by sculptor Robert Sobociński incorporates two curved wooden planks forming the backrest, creating an artistic interpretation.
