Dąb Chrześcijanin

Dąb Chrześcijanin is a massive ancient oak standing at the western edge of a park in Januszkowice. Its trunk is exceptionally thick and the tree rises as a dominant structure across the flat landscape.

This sessile oak dates back to medieval times and witnessed centuries of change under monastic influence. The area surrounding the tree was later transformed into a park that preserves remnants of older structures from the estate.

The name translates to the Christian Oak, and it marks a place of significance for the local community. People gather beneath its broad branches, and the spot carries a reflective quality that draws visitors seeking connection with the land.

The grounds are accessible on foot through marked paths and require no special equipment to explore. The best time to visit is during warmer months when the surrounding vegetation is green and the paths are dry.

It ranks among the thickest trees not only in the Podkarpackie region but throughout Poland. The enormous girth of the trunk makes this particular specimen exceptional among the country's large oaks.
