Kościół Narodzenia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Tulcach

The Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mary in Tulce is a late-Romanesque brick structure with a rectangular nave and angular chancel divided by three altars. The interior features religious sculptures and decorative elements arranged throughout the space that guide visitors toward the main focal points.

Construction of this church began in the first half of the 13th century, establishing it as a focal point for the local community for centuries to come. Major changes occurred in the 18th century when a tower was added and the doors and windows were redesigned.

The church holds a late medieval statue of Mary with Child that draws the devotion of many believers who visit to pay their respects. Visitors can observe the carefully crafted interior with its altars and religious artwork that reflect the spiritual focus of the community.

This church is located in the eastern part of Tulce and is accompanied by a wooden bell tower built in the 19th century. Regular religious services take place here, so visitors should be prepared for an active place of worship.

Next to the church cemetery stands a Renaissance column from the 16th century decorated with carved relief scenes depicting the Passion. This ornate memorial stone often goes unnoticed by visitors exploring the grounds but deserves closer attention.
