Kościół Narodzenia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Tulcach, Roman Catholic church in Tulce, Poland.
The Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mary in Tulce is a brick church with a rectangular nave and a chancel divided by three altars. The interior contains religious sculptures and decorative elements spread throughout the space.
The church was built in the first half of the 13th century, making it one of the oldest in the region. In the 18th century, a tower was added and the doors and windows were redesigned.
Inside the church, a late medieval statue of Mary with Child draws believers who come specifically to pray before it. The piece occupies a central place in the devotional life of the local community and is easy to spot near the main altar.
The church sits in the eastern part of Tulce, next to a cemetery and a wooden bell tower from the 19th century. Regular services are held here, so it is best to visit outside of worship hours to explore the interior freely.
In the cemetery next to the church stands a Renaissance column from the 16th century decorated with carved relief scenes of the Passion of Christ. Many visitors walk past it without stopping, but it rewards a closer look.
