Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Warsaw, Baroque church in Muranów district, Warsaw, Poland.
The brick church exhibits classical Baroque architecture with symmetrical design, decorative elements, and a prominent bell tower along Solidarności Avenue.
Founded in 1682 by Carmelite monks, the church structure underwent completion in 1732 and received consecration from papal legate Camillo Paolucci.
Between 1940 and 1942, this religious edifice remained one of only two operating churches within the boundaries of the Warsaw Ghetto.
The church maintains regular Mass schedules and religious ceremonies, offering services to both Polish and international congregants throughout the week.
In 1962, engineers moved the entire church structure 21 meters north to accommodate the construction of an east-west transportation route.
